Sunday Update: 10/12/2025

Good evening Lion Family,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

We are thrilled to kick off one of the most exciting times of the year, Homecoming Week at Lake Nona High School! Homecoming is a special tradition that celebrates both our current students, who showcase their school spirit and PRIDE, and our alumni, who return home to reconnect and celebrate all things Lake Nona.

Throughout the week, there will be many activities for our students, staff, families, and community to enjoy. Please take a moment to read our next post for a full list of Homecoming events and details. We also ask that families like and share our Homecoming social media posts on community pages throughout Lake Nona to help spread the word and highlight the incredible things happening in your community high school.

Some of the highlights this week include our Homecoming Parade, our Friday night football game, the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen, and of course, the best fireworks show in town!

A few important reminders for the week:
•    Monday, October 13th- No school for students.
•    Tuesday, October 14th: The start of the second marking period (Quarter 2) and the beginning of Spirit Week!
•    Friday, October 17th: An adjusted bell schedule will be in place for our in-school Pep Rally-dismissal will still be at 2:20pm.
Let’s make this an unforgettable week filled with Nona PRIDE, community spirit, and celebration as we continue Leaving Our Legacy.

Happy Homecoming, Lake Nona!

I hope everyone has a great rest of their evening and as always, GO LIONS!

Thank you,

Mrs. Nikki Campbell
